Curtis Borntrager

Curtis Borntrager grew up on a dairy farm in a small town in Mississippi. He learned early the necessity of hard work. He continued to work hard and started his own business when he was only 22 years old. This happened after he moved to Nashville, TN in 1997 and worked full time as a welder. He bought a small tig welder and a plasma cutter to start his own business in 1999. He was still working a full time job during the day and fixing stainless steel restaurant equipment at night. After working day and night for a year, he finally established a full time business with his own metal shop. He re-modeled many restaurants around Nashville and fabricated misc. steel projects for commercial general contractors.

In 2005 Curtis became a general contractor himself and established Borntrager Homes. He built one house in 2005. He ended up building three houses in 2006 and by 2007 was building 10 to 15 houses a year.

Curtis married Holly in 2004 and they now reside in the Franklin, TN.
